Are there special rates for multiple people attending from my company?

Yes! We are also maintaining the Advanced Registration rate as it's been for the past four years for multiple registrants. When four or more people register together from your company, you will each receive these special reduced rates:

Will I be able to communicate with other conference attendees and receive information updates before, during, and after the conference?

Absolutely! Your registration will provide you with access to Momentum Connect, a private online community available exclusively to registrants of Momentum 2010. Momentum Connect features the latest in social networking and collaboration technology to maximize the conference experience — including blogs, newsfeeds, meeting scheduling, public and private messaging, interest-based groups and knowledge sharing, people maps and much more.

What methods of payment can I use?

You may pay by check or money order, electronic funds transfer, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Full payment must accompany your registration form, as registrations without payment will not be processed. A purchase order is not an acceptable form of payment.

Is there a guest fee?

Yes. The fee is US $300.00. This will admit your guest into the evening events only. It does not entitle your guest to enter the Discovery Center (except during the Opening Reception) or to attend any sessions.

Should more than one person from the same company attend Momentum 2010?

Yes. We encourage participation from various departments within your organization to gain maximum benefit from the conference. Each person must submit a separate registration form with payment in full.

May I wait and register on-site when I arrive at the conference?

Yes, although it is preferable (and less expensive) to pre-register in advance online or by mail, as on-site registration will carry an extra fee. If you have not registered prior to your arrival, check in at the Momentum Conference Registration Desk, located on Level 2 of the Diplomat Conference Center. Registration will open at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 2.

Are attendee substitutions permitted?

Yes. If you have registered but are unable to attend the conference, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change to the Momentum 2010 Conference Management Team via e-mail at momentum@meetingexpectations.com or by fax to 404-240-0998.

What is the cancellation policy?

You will be refunded your paid registration fee, minus US $725.00, if you provide written notice of your cancellation by April 21, 2010. After the cancellation deadline, there will be no refunds. Please send written notification of cancellation to the Momentum 2010 Conference Management Team via e-mail at momentum@meetingexpectations.com or by fax to 404-240-0998.

Who should attend?

What should I wear?

Conference dress is business casual. Meeting room temperatures are cool and the climate varies. Layered clothing may provide the greatest comfort.

What is the hotel rate for Momentum 2010?

Momentum 2010 will take place at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in beautiful Hollywood, Florida. Momentum 2010 attendees will receive a special group rate of $269 by booking on-line, or by contacting the hotel directly.

Will technical training be available?

Yes. A mainstay of the Manhattan Associates education program is training. As such, each class provided at Momentum includes a workbook, instructor demos, and direct experience with our software, so you can run exercises that help reinforce that material and encourage long-term retention. Training will be complimentary for each registrant who signs in and attends the session, and who completes the networking activity by visiting each partner in the Discovery Center. You will be charged $300.00 for registering, but you will receive a full credit for this amount when you attend the session and provide the necessary Discovery Center documentation. As soon as the training offerings are finalized, we will alert all registered attendees to log back into their Profiles and select their desired training sessions.

Do I need a rental car?

No. It is not necessary to rent a car unless you plan to extend your stay and tour the area. All conference activities are either on-site or transportation will be provided. You will, however, need to obtain your own transportation to and from the airport. If you do rent a car while attending Momentum, we have negotiated special rates for you with Hertz. What airport should I utilize for access to The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa?

There are two primary airports that service the Hollywood, Florida area:
  • Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is approximately 9 miles (20 minutes) from the Hotel
  • Miami International Airport (MIA) is approximately 20 miles (35 minutes) from the Hotel

How do I get from either airport to The Westin Resort & Spa?

All attendees are responsible for making transportation arrangements from the airport to the hotel. Cabs to the hotel from FLL are approximately $25 each way, and from MIA are approximately $65 each way. Shuttles operate from both airports and make multiple stops at various hotels. To book Airport Express in advance for FLL, call 954-561-8888 (approximately $13 per person) or call Super Shuttle for MIA at 305-871-2000 (approximately $28 per person).
